Chapter 24 The Drama

Brittany didn't look ashamed at all, she even looked angry as she clenched her jaw, but lowered her head in respect, "I'm sorry, Alpha. I shouldn't have tried this, but I really want to be Luna. You and I have been friends for some time now, and I thought that you would consider me and reject your mate just like I rejected mine for you."
Her words seemed to make him angry as his jaw clenched and narrowed his eyes at her, "You dare to say that I reject my mate? Brittany, we are, actually, we were only friends and I would never go against fate to choose my mate when mine has already been chosen for me. You might not feel any heartache now, but you will start feeling it soon as time passes. You can't be truly happy without your mate even if you've mated with another hewolf."
"But Alpha, I gave up so much for you!" She protested in a yell as her hands clenched into fists.
