• He is seated on his turning office seat, which he has steadied, before him is a large table and around are office seats but quite different from his but not in any way inferior. On three of the seats are his junior colleagues, a rank or two below him but by virtue of their individual ranks, they are senior officers from the investigation unit.
• Everything is in place as I find Ashina and Farkas seated before McKin both in handcuffs and glancing down, the heat of fury hits me down from the head down to my chest. I wished I had a gun, I would have shot both of them right to their skull.
