"Councilman Garrick has been diverting funds meant for border defenses into his own accounts. The proof is all here if you check the dates against the supply records."
• The elder flipped through the pages with widening eyes. I had used my knowledge from the first life to gather exact details on the embezzlement that would have gone unnoticed until it was too late.
