• I swallowed a deep lump when I heard the voice. I turned; her gaze was intense as I darted my eyes around. I could hear her heartbeat. I was trying to calm my nerves, feeling the anxiety as it spiked.
• She was wearing dark clothes; her coat covered her face, so I could not see who it was. She walked up to me and slowly slid her hand on my broad shoulders. I was startled while wondering what she wanted from me.
