Chapter 28 Day Seven: A Father's Birthmark

• Emmett looked up at Don Giulio sharply. He was startled. Why was Don Giulio upset all of a sudden? Maybe Emmett didn't kill her, but he had no explanation for her death. And since he thinks he was the last to see her alive, he was going to take the blame for her death.
• "One of my boys was there, and he killed her and buried her. That is the story." Don Giulio said coldly.
• Emmett raised his eyebrows at him as his words sunk in. He realized that Don Giulio was trying to get him to escape going to jail by substituting him with one of his boys.
