Chapter 8 Let go memories

  • It’s been 24 days since I have been here, away from my friends and family. Today, I remember sweet little Evie. I wonder how she’s doing at the moment. Her cancer was at a critical stage already. Her chances of survival were below five percent. I wanted to be there with her, to be there for her. She was all her father got left.
  • Caleb walked in to announce the Alpha was would be coming to see me in a few minutes.
  • I got out of bed with my rough hair and pale looking face. Ian came in. He noticed my saddened facial expression almost immediately he stepped inside. He seized his eyes and raised his eyebrows like he always does. “Hey, good morning… Alpha.” I greeted.
  • He cleared his throat to speak with an Alpha’s voice. “You don’t look like yourself today, is there a problem?” he asked.
  • I sighed, and nodded. “I don’t know. I can’t help it from within… here.” I said. “not that I could have helped it in anyway. It’s just not fair.”
  • “The world is not fair, neither is life. Its so for everybody, that is what makes it less unfair.” The Alpha said.
  • “Yeah, sure. She um, had cancer. Very little time left, and I promised her she’ll be fine. I lied to her, and the worst thing is, I might not be there when she…” I sobbed. I noticed he was dressed officially. His tie was bent to one said and the knot was a funny one. I wiped my eyes. “Where are going?” I asked.
  • “A traditional trip. I must be there.” He answered.
  • I got up to remake his tie and dress him properly. “What are doing?” he asked.
  • “Isn’t obvious? You look like rag. I am taking care of my Alpha in a way I can. Why? Do I make you uncomfortable?”
  • Ian stared at me in the eyes and looked away. “I think your stylist is getting a little bit too old.” I said.
  • Ian nodded. “I agree, that is why I had him killed this morning.” He said with his face turned away. My heart dipped as he turned his face to me again. I got a look at those cold, serious and pretty much merciless eyes again.
  • “You had someone killed because of clothes?” I asked, sincerely scared he did.
  • Ian shook his head. “That was suppose to be a joke, but I guess I can’t give the humor vibe.” He said.
  • “Yes, never do that again, please.” I said, then laughed. “How long will you be gone?” I asked.
  • “A couple of days, or maybe a week. I must be there.” He said.
  • I sat on my bed, and hummed. “I can’t say I’ll miss you though.”
  • “No you can’t, because you are coming with me.” Ian said.
  • “No, I’m not. I don’t want to. I don’t want to meet those important people again. They are all just so proud and rude.” I declined.
  • “It’s not a request. I am not asking you.” Ian said. He raised his face at me and gave me that cold stare again. “Thank you for tie. I am waiting. You have thirty minutes to get ready. That is enough time.”
  • “You are not serious, are you?” I asked. Ian said nothing in response to my question. I heaved tiredly.
  • “OK… let’s get ready. Ten minutes to bathe, twenty to dress up. Just enough time needed.” Kendra said. “Come on…” She urged.
  • “Kendra, I think that is enough. I want to be alone with my mate. Thank you for your help.” Ian said, and that was an order. She bowed and rushed out of the room.
  • “Now what?” I asked.
  • “Now, you bathe, and dress up. Our journey is long.” He replied.
  • “I can’t do any of that with you in here.” I argued.
  • “Just two days ago, you were ready to let me have sex with you. What reason do you have feel uncomfortable with me seeing your body today?” He asked. He looked at his watch. “it’s twenty six minutes now, better hurry.”
  • Ian walked slowly towards me. He grabbed me by my upper arms and pulled me to himself. I gulped nervously. What was he up to now. He raised my face and brought his close. Our eyes indulged in a short conversation. His hands gently massaged my shoulders, and unbuttoned my pajamas. As the shirt fell off my body, I moved to cover my breasts, but the Alpha held me still with our eyes still fixed. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me even closer, that my breasts touched his suit. Ian went down, loosened my pants and pulled it down. “Do not try to cover your body. Not with me, everything about you is mine.” He said.
  • I covered my face with my hands as he took off my panties. “You sleep these on? You shouldn’t. The night should be the little time your vagina must be free from tight underwear.” The Alpha said.
  • Ian picked me off the ground in his arms, and took me to the bathroom himself. I didn’t say a word while Ian washed my body. After he was done, he took me out, and applied the cream on my body himself. “I am sorry, if you do not like this, I do not care. What matters is I want to.” He said.
  • “So you don’t care how I feel about something. It’s OK so long you want it?” I asked.
  • “Yes, that is what being an Alpha means.” He answered. Ian opened my wardrobe, and selected a blue dress. “Put this on.” He said, handing the dress to me.
  • I took it from him. “I don’t like this dress.”
  • “But I do, and that’s all that matters.” He said almost cutting in before I could finish talking.
  • Ian picked a light blue colored pantie. “I like this one.” He said. I could only watch him do all what he was doing. He placed a soft kiss on my lap before rolling the stockings up my thighs. He picked the hairbrush by the mirror and made my hair as gently as he could.
  • “You are ready.” He whispered to my ears before biting it.
  • I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked beautiful and I felt, happy.
  • Ian turned me around, and once again, he has those eyes, those dazzling eyes. He raised my face by my chin and gave my lips the world’s sweetest kiss again.
  • “ahem, excuse me sir. We are running out of time.” Caleb said. Ian broke the kiss.
  • On our way, I wondered if Kendra was right after all. Had I never fallen in love before? Or did I just didn’t know what love means? What Ian makes me feel, and what u feel for him, wasn’t the type I was familiar with. I looked at his beautiful face and smiled inside. It was time to let go of some memories, and accept some.
  • “By the way, what kind of traditional trip is this?” I asked.
  • To be continued…
