• So while I paused with my lips apart, looking at him say everything he had just said, my mind flashed back to the story Kendra told me some time ago. I immediately saw the curse on him and believed it. Ian had made me hurt with his words and I wasn’t sure he realized it then. The way he looked at me, it was like he regretted e everything we’ve had, everything we’ve become. It was Luke he wished it never happened. The thought of this, made me sad, and angry. I had almost forgotten that look, those eyes. I know them too well. Pity and regret. Rob gave me that look, those eyes. And even now, it hurts even more.
