Chapter 45 AFTER THE CHAOS

• A month had passed, and surprisingly, all the issues about me within the campus disappeared. Without a doubt, Angelo Tan has something to do with it, but I refused to inquire further. Maddox, Sam, and Luke know everything between me and my father's short conversation. We all agree that my father has taken action to stop all the rumors about me in the school.
• Even Cassy and her mom are no longer pursuing the case about Cassy's injury. Avery, Chloe, Scarlett, and Cassandra are distant from me after the cafeteria commotion. It was the day Angelo Tan appeared in front of me. There's a place in my heart that celebrates but half of it stays in alarm whenever they plan to attack me again.
• I let all the issues wear out, including the stress and pain that goes with it. I'll be fine as long as I can study conveniently and hang out with my favorite friends whenever I want.
