Chapter 36 LOVE AMIDST DOUBTS AND FEARS

• Lea calls me as she has promised. I pick up her call immediately as I sit in the lobby to prepare for a long talk with my best friend. As assured, I let her know immediately when Maddox and I become a couple. I texted her on our way home from school. I'm sure Lea will ask as many questions as she can, so I can't go home to avoid mom hearing our conversation.
