Chapter 43 THE TRUTH CAME OUT

• I don't expect to see Maddox outside of the guidance counselor's office; he is wearing his beautiful smile that enlightens my mood immediately. His smile automatically made my day. Standing with Maddox is our class adviser Ms. Jerselle and on the other side is Cassy's friends.
• "Hey, how was it?"Maddox asked as he gave me a hug.
• "Everything is fine, don't worry," I answered happily in a low tone. I intend to have the conversation for just the two of us.
