Chapter 65 Sixty-four

  • He enjoyed the ride home, listening to the curly-haired boy's monologue. He only interrupted him to clear up a couple of questions that arose from their chance encounter and discovered that the owners of the supermarket —quite far from where Dominic lived— were acquaintances of his aunt and uncle (Zachary's parents). After the brief explanation, Liam opted to keep quiet; well, he was never one to talk much.
  • He never felt so sheltered from the world as he entered the house. Helped by a smiling Dominic, he organized and arranged everything in its place. He didn't know at what point, but after a few minutes, the boy was lost from his field of vision. A variety of images molded in his mind. And then he fell into reality... Mávros. His cat stole Dominic's attention. Ignoring whatever it was he felt —because he wasn't going to give a specific name to the sensation that was born, no, because he wasn't jealous of the ebony fur ball at all— he prepared some simple snacks: a cup with coffee and a cup with tea and some sweet snacks.
