• EVELYN TURNED to face him in a heartbeat. "Excuse me?"

• That question sounded borderline insulting and she wanted to spit out how she would never be actually involved with his son even if he was the only man on earth but from the way he had asked, she had a feeling Jason hadn't informed him about their fake relationship.
