• THE FILE Evelyn was holding hit the floor with a whack. Her pulse raced out of control. Her hands were now shaking so violently that she shoved them in the pockets of the pale lilac cotton dress she was wearing, then took a deep breath and let out a nervous laugh.
• "Hi... Hi Julia. Weren't you supposed to be on a flight to Norway with Jason?" Evelyn said with an uneasy smile.
• Julia looked at her from the corner of her eyes. "Yes. I was but Jason sent me back to take care of a more essential matter. " Then she looked down at the scattered file and pictures on the ground. "What are you up to? Why are you going through Jason's stuff?"
