• The words that were supposed to stay hidden in my mind got out of control. The instant that I heard that Stella was there on the day that my parents died just infuriated me down to my spine. I don't understand myself anymore. I kept on breathing in and out like I was out of air, and my limbs were starting to get cramped.
• "Celestina, calm down." Siege tried to stop me from turning. "This isn't the right time for you to lose sanity, Celestina. You have to properly get yourself trained for the worst before you shift with your wolf," he said, which only proves that he was afraid of me.
