• Every expression visible on Roland's face showed he was serious with what he said. I thought he would pop out a naughty expression and claim he was joking but no, he was as serious as héll.
• "Please, leave," I said to him after much contemplation on how to reply to his message. There I was, hoping that he had learned his lesson when I had cautioned him earlier in the day. He still had the effrontery to appear before me, claiming to have feelings for a girl like me.
