Chapter 49

• Rhea woke a moment ago, but all she could feel was pain throughout her joints. The room was empty; she was sure that everyone else had already left, leaving her all alone here. A few minutes later, she feels the darkness wrapping around her again. But when Rhea cracked her eyes open just a bit, she caught sight of the tall and broad silhouette.

• Killian knelt beside her bed, watching over her with a worried expression and Rhea felt certain that she was in a dream.
