Rhea needed some time to regain her composure after Noah's painful words. Noah was correct. Although she had moved on from that house, Leon's shadow still loomed over her.
Rhea struggled to contain her tears, but ultimately, she couldn't hold them back. She rested against the wall in the empty back kitchen, away from the other omegas, and quietly wept.
As night approached, she completed her tasks, took a refreshing shower, and slipped into fresh attire. Then a knock echoed through the space, and another omega peeked in from outside.
