• The wall went flying and screeched across the floor. Where it had been stood Aunt Bethany, her hands held out with sparks arching between them. Beside her stood his Aunt Paisley and Kinsley.
• “Move out of the way,” Beth said as she started walking to the other end of the hall where Abe stood. As she walked, she quickly assessed that her mate was, in fact, fine.
