• Dane dropped her on the bed and was just about to take his leave. Tears sprang to her eyes and she sat up, reaching out impulsively to him. "Stay with me, please…"
• He looked at her in surprise. " I don't have any time for this. I must go now. " He said and left.
• Amelia lowered her eyes for a moment. She didn't know why she was feeling like this. Abigail might have promised her of a life filled with romance but none of it was happening. What if she couldn't pull this off? Should she seduce Dane? Why was she suddenly feeling like this?
