• Steady hands are the key to good cupcake icing. Steady hands, an eye for design, and the ability to block the rest of the world out, to narrow down your focus to the bare little cake in front of you.
• Some days I can concentrate easier than others. Like this morning, for instance, my mind keeps drifting to flushed, weathered cheeks and blue eyes.
