• I could feel the tension thickening in the air. I was Alpha now. I stepped back, feeling the weight of what I had to do. I looked at the guards. “Take him,” I ordered. “To the prison chambers. He’ll stay there until I know where my mother and Hilda are.”
• The guards hesitated, looking at TitoLin. He didn’t fight back as they grabbed him and started to drag him away. He didn’t resist, but I could see the calm amusement on his face.
