Chapter 2 The Wedding Night
- ALLY
- "I need answers. What the bloody hell is going on? Why is she the one I'm married to and where is Lucy!" Alpha Dimitri demanded as he pulled my father to the side.
- My heart was beating faster than normal and my hands were shaking from fear.
- "Alpha Dim..."
- Alpha Dimitri harshly and coldly cuts my father off. "Get straight to the point before I force the words out of your mouth."
- "My daughter, Lucy is cursed," my father replied firmly.
- "What the bloody hell do you mean by that?" Alpha Dimitri chided.
- "I'm sorry Alpha Dimitri. Allow me to firstly apologize to you," my father said then proceeded to go on his knees but was stopped by Alpha Dimitri.
- "What are you trying to do? Gather attention? Don't make me pissed, what's happening!" I shuddered in fear from the cold tone of Alpha Dimitri.
- "My daughter Lucy is cursed and would bring harm to any man she gets married to and to his pack. This prophecy came two nights ago and I don't dare to cancel the wedding and humiliate a man of your status so I did what I had to do and that's give you my second daughter as it would only make it right," he father explained.
- I dislike my father. He has always been selfish and cruel. He doesn't treat my mom, my sister, or me in a good way.
- He has no respect or regard for women and I've watched several times as he hit my mom and how he'd lock my sisters and me in a room full of rats whenever we didn't obey him or offend him with no food or water for a day.
- He has always been tough on us. He wants everything he wants done without wanting to know what any of us wants.
- The reason I had not chosen to run just like my sister did was because of my mother. Tears filled my eyes as I listened to his conversation with Alpha Dimitri.
- I didn't want to cry. I was tired of crying because that was all I did last night.
- "Ally would bring good luck to your pack, unlike her sister. I'm sorry that you had to find out only after the wedding but all I did was for you Alpha. I would dare not to humiliate and embarrass you," my father said to Alpha Dimitri.
- "I won't forgive you. For what you've done, I won't forgive you," Alpha Dimitri said to my father.
- "Where is your daughter? Where is Lucy?" Alpha Dimitri questioned.
- "I sent her away from treatments and maybe if she can get cured of her curse she would not only bring bad luck to you but also to me," My father lied confidently.
- There was no sign of fear as he spoke or a hint of a lie. He just did it effortlessly.
- Alpha Dimitri opened his mouth to say something but ended up closing his mouth, nodding his head instead.
- He turned to leave only to see my face and he frowned. “I don’t want to see your face,” he uttered before walking past me.
- Later that night, it was time for me to leave with Alpha Dimitri. I had not seen him since he spoke to my father the other time and I tried not to look for him as I wouldn’t want to make him any angrier.
- Just before I went towards the limousine that Alpha Dimitri was in, my father pulled me to the side.
- “You will not make the Alpha any more angry than he already is. You will not cry and now that you are his wife, you will act like it by satisfying and pleasing him as we have to pacify him okay?” My father said through his teeth.
- “Yes Father,” I replied.
- “Also I don’t have to tell you what to do as his wife. Tonight, make sure to appease him with what you have. You better be good at it or else if he doesn’t show us to treat me as he should then I would not forgive you and come for you,” he warned.
- I cringed hard when he mentioned that I should use what I have to please Alpha Dimitri. It was disgusting to hear my father treat me like I was nothing.
- I didn’t even know which was worse. Leaving the hell of a house my father owns or going to live with a man as vicious as Alpha Dimitri.
- “Do you understand,” my father asked.
- “Yea father,” I replied.
- “Good. Now hurry up and join him. We don’t want to make the Alpha angry,” he urged.
- I walked away from him, looking around for my mother with hopes of speaking to her but I couldn’t find her anywhere.
- She didn’t attend the wedding as my father wouldn’t allow her either. I expected her to take the risk and to come and bid me farewell. A drop of tears slipped down my cheek as my chest burned in pain.
- I joined Alpha Dimitri in the limousine.
- “Drive Peter,” Alpha Dimitri ordered. All through the ride, we said nothing to each other and it made me even more worried as to what would happen when we finally arrived at his place.
- I wasn’t surprised to know that Alpha Dimitri resided in a big mansion but it was my first time seeing a place as beautiful as it is. As the driver drove around the water fountain with blue lights, I could not help but be amazed by the beauty of the place.
- Alpha Dimitri left the car almost immediately after we arrived and I followed his steps, walking fast behind him while trying to catch up with him as I didn’t want to offend him.
- I held my gown in my hand as I followed him, he didn’t turn to look back at me not once, and I didn’t get to look at the mansion not once as I was scared of what might happen.
- I heaved a sigh of small exhalation when we finally reached his room. I took a glance around the beauty of the room.
- It was spacious, three of my rooms would be enough to fit in it, and in the middle of the room was a king-size bed.
- Everything in the room screamed luxury, I had completely forgotten my anxiety as I stared at the room.
- I snapped back to reality when I saw Alpha Dimitri glaring at me. I swallowed the invisible lump that formed in my throat from his glares.
- “I’m sorry,” I uttered before realizing.
- “What did you say?” He asked, taking slow and intimidating steps towards me.
- “I’m sorry,” I apologize again not knowing why I was apologizing to him, my hands shaking.
- His presence was terrifying. He made me so nervous and scared. I wasn’t this terrified of my own father as I was of him.
- He scoffed, now standing some inches away from me. “Why are you sorry? For deceiving me into getting married to you or what?”
- “I… I didn’t… mean…”
- “Just shut up!” He snapped, cutting me off and I flinched from the sound of his voice.
- “You will pay for this. You will pay for getting married to me. You will pay for thinking that you could get married to me and I’m not kidding. You made the worst mistake of your life and I will make sure to remind you of it every day.” He said, putting emphasis on his words as he spoke.
- I didn’t marry him because I wanted to but because I was forced to. I couldn’t tell him that either because it would only make it worse. The way he looked at me made me scared. It was evident he didn’t like me and knowing his reputation, he wasn’t joking with his words.
- “What are you about to do?” He spoke harshly and I quickly wiped the drop of tears that slipped down my cheek.
- “Don’t you ever, I repeat, ever in your life shed those crocodile tears in front of me ever again. They disgust me. I can’t even stand you,” he said through gritted teeth.
- “I…”
- He cuts me off again. “I don’t want to hear you speak. You don’t deserve to speak to someone like me. You are nothing but a slave. You aren’t my wife. You are useless!”
- Ouch! His words hurt. My heart beat erratically as I felt the knots in my stomach tightened.
- He walked away, leaving me to stand in the same position in fear of what could happen. My life was officially ruined and no matter how hard I tried to escape it, I don’t think I’d ever escape it.
- I didn’t know how long I stood in fear but by the time Alpha Dimitri returned, he had a towel wrapped around his waist.
- My eyes fell on his body and I couldn’t help but admire his perfect body and his eight packs. I snapped back to reality when I realized that I was staring too much and looked away.
- I’ve never seen a man half naked before, talk more of a naked man and it scared the hell out of me.
- “Hey,” I heard Alpha Dimitri's voice and I flinched from the sound of his turn.
- “Look at me,” he said and I slowly turned towards him.
- I almost lost my balance when I realized that he was already standing behind me and not away from me.
- I was able to hold myself and not fall.
- “No matter what happens, you are not to come to this bed to sleep. I don’t care where you want to sleep but it will be in this room, either on the floor or maybe you can stand and sleep. I don’t give a fuck, is that understood?” He stated sternly.
- “Yes… yes,” I replied nervously, nodding my head.
- “Looking at you disgusts me. Your presence is irritating and you will regret it.” With that said, he left and I watched as he got rid of his towel and climbed on the bed.
- Tears streamed down my cheek in fear and pain. I have been forced to marry the cruel Alpha and now I had nobody to cry to but myself.
