• “You think fucking Donald would really give you Shawn? How can you say that when you spent the night reading articles about Shawn and knowing how strong-hearted he is? He hardly changes his mind after making a decision.” Mom said at the top of her voice.
• I shrugged, trying to form words. “True! But I can’t just be here and not do anything. We need to prove to Shawn that all we’ve been saying about Cassie is nothing but the truth. So we need some sort of evidence. Evidence that shows she’s promiscuous. That she can’t give birth.” I was saying, then paused; brought my hand to my forehead, and gently massaged my temple. “The thought of Cassie and Shawn fucking makes me wanna kill myself. She can enjoy all the good life in the meantime before she gets kicked out but she better not get pregnant for him.” I warned.
