Chapter 121
- My mother never communicated with my dad other than on official matters but most of the time she would drop a message to his secretary the then-present mistress who was always polite to her knowing her place. My mother was never too harsh to her even knowing that she was the sole reason for the divorce. My dad never married anyone again but would come to visit us quite often bringing us expensive gifts but the three of us would just avoid him as much as possible. After he would leave we would go to the nearby orphanage and donate the toys he had brought for us to the children who were unprivileged and feel happy to make them smile.
- My mother was a generous donor she would buy clothes and gifts for the children time and again. Life was going well for the four of us but one day my younger brother was diagnosed with leukaemia and he was just eight at that time I was ten whereas Will was fourteen.
- My mother was devastated at that time as he needed to have a bone marrow transplant and was growing weak day by day. She tried to match us for the transplant but we were not suitable. I saw my mother cry miserably every day and it broke my heart and so was Will. But one day my dad decided to show up and after he had checked on Hunter I saw him comfort my mother and both of them went to see the doctor.
