Chapter 23 Ransom Moment

• ANNE’S POV
• I sat on the window sill in my bedroom. Looking around the surrounding area, I noticed that there were more butterflies around and the atmosphere smelled nice. The sun shone so brightly in the sky, though it was still morning, one would have mistook it for afternoon. The guys left earlier this morning. Immediately they left, the house felt lonely and empty.
• Not particularly empty, everyone was around except for them and a few guards who went with them. An uncomfortable feeling had settled down in my abdomen since I woke up fully this morning. After I woke up from the dream, I didn't feel too good. I hid it well and tried not to let them notice when they came to bid me goodbye.
