• I was a hundred percent certain that the writing in the leather-bound notebook did not belong to Bryan. After all, we had been mates before Cecilia brought the chaos. I could almost swear that the handwriting was hers. But what use would that information be now that she was gone? I knew I couldn't take back my earlier statement.
• “It doesn’t belong to Bryan?” Cadel furrowed his brows, confusion etching his features. “We found it among his belongings.”
