• The rest of the ride was with him paying me silent and zero attention which was fine by me. I didn't want to talk to him either.
• Though my body was still jumpy and scared, I refused to let it show. He was going to beat me more when we got to the hotel, he had said so.
• There was no need to beg him because I knew from experience that it would solve nothing. Nothing at all. In fact it would make everything worse and have him beat me till we got to the hotel and he would continue once we were in the room.
