Chapter 25
- Again, complete silence. I wasn’t sure if warning me was good. Just the thought of my FOS climbing, accelerated my heart rate and had it climbing. I blew out a short breath and gave her a quick nod. Better to get it over fast, I thought. I held my hands clasped tightly together in my lap.
- “You’ve seen the mages with their glowing purple eyes.”
- I nodded, feeling like I was vibrating with nervous energy.
