• I chuckle and then turn to face the next small wave of attacking supernaturals. Just as I take down a human hunter knocking him out, I sense that I am being watched; I look around, but I don’t see anyone. I shrug my shoulders and return my attention back to Scarlett and the ones she is now fighting.
• I continued to fight by Scarlett’s side making sure that no harm came to her, not that I needed to as she is an exceptional fighter and with her mate by her side they were a team not to be trifled with. I fight and knock out all that attack me.
