• The years on the run with Silas were hard, but the last few months on the run from him and then in Alpha Giovanni's possession were the worst. Being so close to my family and then being ripped away once more was nearly the death of me. However, once Phoenix saves me and we return to the castle, I can finally relax.
• After I had recovered over a few days, Phoenix allowed our pups to enter our room. Ryker, Jayce, Opal, and River entered, and each gave me a hug. I was surprised at how much my little ones had grown. The worst thing about seeing them all was that I didn’t know them. I wasn’t here; I didn’t see them grow.
