• “Who… who told you that?” Calvin asked. He didn’t miss that Roselet used ‘HAD’ while talking about it.
• “Mommy,” Roselet replied. “She told me about him. Lemi and I found her in the graveyard today, and she was crying bitterly thinking about him. But Cavin, I have a question. His birthday is twenty days prior to Christmas, while my birthday is eleven days prior to Christmas. Are twins born after nine days?” She asked innocently. Calvin didn’t answer her immediately, but as much as he could think, he assumed that he had been celebrating Roselet’s birthday on the wrong date.
• Also, how the hell would he know that when she was born exactly when he wasn’t there when she was born? He started celebrating her birthday from the day he found her in a little box. But he just couldn’t drop that bomb on her over the video call; he had to talk about it when she would be near him, in his arms, where he could clear all her doubts and insecurities.
