Chapter 36 You Are The Queen

• After a drive of about an hour into the night, we arrive at a huge yacht, brightly lighted.
• There is a logo on the hull and several men in uniform and dark glasses are waiting. In the distance, I can hear engines, more speedboats are approaching. "Ralph, what is this? Who are all these people?" I ask somewhat anxiously. It looks like a war going on at sea. Ralph nudges me closer to him, and believe me, with the few clothes on my body, his warmth comes in very handy. It seems he and Esis don't feel the icy chill of the wind.
• "Those are the security guards, my love," he answers. He takes me by the shoulders and looks at me. "There is something else I must tell you, Rain. I am a Lycan and live in the Kingdom. In the palace". He scours my face for a response. Sensing that his words do not impress me, he continues. "I am the King of the Royal Werewolf Kingdom. And you will be the Queen". My eyes go big. "The Queen? Ooohh God! You mean the Queen of all werewolves? But you said I can't shift. Then how am I the Queen of species that won't recognize me?" I ask, staring at him in stupefaction.
