Chapter 124 Plans

• The following weeks go by like a dream.
• Jasper is busy working with Jace and the Elders to arrange the relocating of Storm Forest. It is a hell of an undertaking to bring over a thousand wolves across to Canada. New homes must be built, schools, daycare centers and sports centers in the Kingdom have to be expanded. Fortunately, the activities are moving steadily, even Esis has provided designers and construction workers from his pack to make everything move faster.
• By the third week, more than half the pack has already moved under the leadership of Cleo, the Head warrior. The Elders, Jasper, Jace and I will be the last to leave. But despite his busy work schedule, my mate always makes time for me. After our escapade in the cave, I moved back into the packhouse. After falling asleep on the park bench, I woke up next to Jasper in his apartment in the packhouse. I understood right away what had happened. Every morning we have breakfast together, after which I go back to bed to rest some more. In the afternoon, between all the meetings, he comes back to have lunch with me. Twice a week, we repeat our midnight walk. Jasper told me that this was an old habit of mine, which surprised me because, in the Kingdom, I did not have this need to walk around. Well, I guess it has to do with me feeling at home.
