Simon smirked at her cute frown. He gave a small and hearty chuckle before leaning close to her face, his mouth ended up brushing the side of her lips before he dropped some money on the bar table. He stood up before turning to leave. Sabrina stood frozen without moving. everything that had just played out a few seconds ago was ringing and playing in her head.
She snapped back to reality before leaving the bar. The cold breeze of the night hit her skin as she strode back to her room, few people seemed to be awake as she strode alone but everywhere began to go silent as she got nearer to the packhouse. The sound of footsteps behind her began to echo in her ear, Sabrina was about to turn when she got knocked to the ground.
She landed on her knees with her palm touching the cold soil. The pain made her growl painfully, she looked up to notice a man standing with an iron. She touched the back of her aching head as her hands became moist with her own blood.
