• Amara’s sleeping form lay on a large bed under a dim light. In the concealed corner of the room, the Shadow Man lurked. He was meticulously observing the unexpected guest. He never foresaw Cernon bringing a female companion to the underworld. His hunters have gifted him women in his previous lives, but none of them made it to the underworld. Even the Goddess of Spring hadn’t visited Cernon in the underworld.
