Chapter 1327 The Impostor

• Avery Rumpley swallowed her rising anger and a thirst for payback that kept swelling. She drove out of the parking lot, shot a glance at Rory Moore in the passenger seat nibbling on cookies, then hit the gas and left the Moore residence.
• Rory ate in silence. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught Avery’s less-than-happy face and kept quiet.
• Listening to the almost soundless crunch of the cookies, Avery suddenly heard Old Mr. Moore’s constant nagging in her head about “proper upbringing.” She forced her temper down and asked, “Rory, has your great-grandpa always been like this?”
