• It’s been 12 hours since the scout told us where she was. Where we hope she is. I look up as the light starts to fade and the sky turns a deep shade of purples and blues. I can feel an unsettlement inside of me build as we get closer to the city. It’s like a tidal wave hitting me over and over, the surge getting stronger the closer we drive.
