• It was like an old movie, flashing through the mind of Daffodil when her adoptive parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marby told her about how they found her and where she really came from. Suddenly, Daffodil remembered her dreams for several nights.
• “I dreamed about that Mom. In my dreams, I saw a woman running and was too afraid while holding tight a child in her arms and then some wolves running too, chasing the woman with a child. The woman cried out and shouted, her thin voice spreading all over the mountains disturbing all the wild animals around. After that, I saw a blooded golden wolf almost crawling, trying to save his life but three black wolves attacked it again and again until it lay lifeless, almost swimming in its own blood.”
