Chapter 34 Kiss Me Until I Can't Breathe

• ISABELLA’S POV
• As soon as Dante walks into the room, I prepare myself to see him covered in blood, but the only thing I can see on him is a small cell phone and on his face is his signature scowl. He looks stressed but he also looks like he made some progress with Alberto.
• I didn’t want to be anywhere near Alberto while Dante was torturing him but from the look of things, Dante wasn’t as cruel with him as I thought. I smile and rush hastily towards him and cover him in a warm hug. “You didn’t kill him.” I say because from the look in his eyes I can tell. He doesn’t have that darkness in his eyes when he’s murderous about something and that tells me that Alberto gets to live another day.
