Chapter 27 Finally Safe

• I tried to open my eyes, but the light bothered me. I didn’t know where I was or who was with me; I just felt heavy. Someone was sleeping beside me. Gradually, I got used to everything and mustered the courage to see what was in front of me.
• As soon as I could see clearly, I looked around and saw the white room with a large window, blue curtains, white furniture, and dark blue details. Next to me, Giulia was curled up.
• Slowly, I started to remember what had happened and soon needed answers.
