• I didn't want to take them away from me, but it was the safest thing to do. Giulia was trapped, and I knew it wouldn't work. She had been living like this for too long. Being someone who constantly prevented her from doing what she wanted would only push her further away from me. Besides, I knew all too well what I had put her through. That alone was enough to make her hate me.
