• Amirah
• “How you feeling, honey,” asked her mom.
• “Honestly mom, I’m still trying to process everything, how do I have two mates and they happen to be twin brothers?”
• “I know it all seems like too much but I know you. You can handle anything and everything and whatever you decide to do, just know that me and your father will support you,”
• “Yes, babygirl, we here for you and you will do the right thing,” said her father. And what was the right thing?
• “Di,”
• “Yes, Rah,”
• “What are we going to do?”
• “Keep them both of course,” replied Dione, with a ‘duh’ attitude.
• “Be serious Di, we cannot have two mates besides, Antonio is evil, he knew I thought he was someone else and yet he let me believe. Who does that?”
• “Well, that was naughty of him but what if he didn’t know. What if he does not know about his twin just like Elijah did not know?”
• “I hear you Di, but still,”
• “No buts, look I understand the love you have for Elijah. I love Xander just as much but I also love Xavier as well and we all agree that we are bonded for a reason, now we need our human counterparts to figure it out and we can all be together,”
• “Wait, who’s Xander and Xavier?”
• “Xander is Elijah’s wolf and Xavier is Antonio’s wolf. Remember when I said I went to get answers, well the Moon Goddess said to tell you that yare the glue between Elijah and Antonio,”
• “What? No, I don’t even know Antonio nor do I like him. Not after his deceit,”
• “Amirah,” called her mother.
• “Oh, sorry mom, I was talking to Di,”
• “Oh well, I was saying that, Elijah is calling you,” said her mother, pointing in Elijah’s direction.
• Amirah saw Elijah sitting on the love seat and the space next to him was vacant, he paced it.
• “Guess I need to go to him,” said to her mother, who giggled at her. Amirah chuckled as she walked to Elijah. She saw Tessa glare at her as she walked past her. A hand grabbed her upper arm and she turned to see Tessa,
• “If you think I will just sit and allow you take him from me, than you must not know me well. You just a low rank weakling and I will have him now that you mated and marked, whore,”
• “Let go of me before you regret it,” replied Amirah.
• “This is not over,”
• “Bring it on. I look forward to kicking your ass…again,” she retorted and yanked her arm from Tessa’s hold. She continued walking to Elijah,
• “What’s wrong did Tess say something?” asked Elijah as soon as she sat down next to him.
• “No, I’m fine.” Elijah frowned at her and she smiled at him,
• “Okay fine, I’m not okay, but it’s not about Tessa. It’s everything else. Elijah, I lov…”
• “They here,” said Alpha John, cutting off Amirah’s sentence.
• Amirah felt excitement building inside her, wait… what? She was not excited to see him. No way.
• “Right, keep lying to yourself,” retorted Dione. Amirah blocked her. She tightened her hold on Elijah’s hands and straightened her back. She can do this. She will reject him and then live happily with Elijah.
• “No matter how many times you tell yourself that, the truth remains, you have feelings for hi…” that precise moment the door opened and in walked the exact copy of Elijah, expect for those eyes. Those eyes will haunt her for eternity, this she knew. As if he was connected to her, he instantly locked eyes with her but they narrowed into slits when he saw her intertwined fingers with Elijah,
• “Get your fucken hands off my mate,” said Antonio, his voice was barely loud enough to be heard from outside this room but it felt like he roared the words out loud. His imposing presence oozed and polluted the air. His authoritative aura was suffocating. Unconsciously, Amirah removed her hands from Elijah’s. Everyone was silent but even if they spoke loudly, they would be background noise at that moment. Antonio had captivated her and held her attention in his tight grip and he was not letting go.
• “”An…Antonio,” said Luna Sofia, her face was covered in tears, as she looked at her son. Hearing her voice, Antonio removed his gaze from Amirah and turned to look at his mother,
• “If it isn’t the mother that abandoned me, you look well, Sofia,” he said, his voice was deep and rough as she remembered and after hearing Elijah speak, she wonders how she could ever mistake him from Elijah. Yes, Elijah’s voice was just as deep but Antonio’s voice had a roughness to it. Like someone who once screamed day and night and now his vocal cord is damaged somehow.
• “Oh Antonio,” cried out Luna Sofia, she moved to go to him but Antonio just shook his head, stopping her in her tracks.
• “Please this is no happy reunion. I am simply here for my mate,”
• “Come, let’s go” he said but he was already turning around and walking to the door. He stopped midway, noticing that Amirah was still by the couch next to Elijah, who had intertwined his hands with hers.
• “Mate, I know you don’t know me, thus I shall let this defiance pass. But please know this. I am not a man that repeats himself. Let’s go,”
• “She’s not going anywhere, brother,” said Elijah but the way he said brother, made it seem like an insult. Elijah turned around and looked Elijah head on.
• “Well, the favorite son. He who was worthy to be loved and cherish by our mother, let me give you a brotherly warning. If you do not keep your fucken hands off my mate, you will regret it,”
• Elijah smirked at him and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled her closer to his side,
• “I’m sorry, brother but why would I not touch MY MATE?” he replied. Antonio was across the room in a flash but Elijah was just as quick and met him.
• “STOP!” shouted Amirah. She was shocked at own voice. Antonio and Elijah stood face to face, both men seething with anger and their breathing was labored and loud.
• “If we can all just calm down and talk. We need to resolve this amicably,” said Alpha John.
• “I agree, please calm down both of you.” Amirah was very surprised at her authoritative voice, both these men where future Alpha’s and she was just an omega,
• “Rah, you many things but a mere omega is certainly not one of those things,” peeped Di.
• “Not now Di,”
• “Okay, let’s all sit down,” said Alpha John but the brothers didn’t move an inch.
• “If you both don’t sit your asses down right now,” yelled Amirah shocking herself. The brothers must have been shocked as well because they turned too looked at her and weird enough had the same expression on their faces. One left brow lifted in question and narrowed eyes.
• “Please,” she said, feeling intimidated by her mates. Wow, mates, she had mates.
• “And very Dominate mates by the look of things,” smirked Di. Amirah groaned and blocked her.
• “Oh Goddess, give me strength,” she silently prayed.
• “Okay, let’s get on with this. Antonio, I’m Al…”
• “I know who you are old man,” interrupted Antonio. Amirah narrowed her eyes at him but he just smirked at her and found a chair to seat on. Elijah sat next to Amirah and growl bounced off the wall.
• “Amirah dear, why don’t you seat with your parents,” suggested Alpha John. Elijah was about to object but Amirah just shook her head and pleaded with him with her eyes. She went to the couch where her parents sat and sat between her mother and father.
• “Okay, now. Antonio to get you up to speed, Elijah here, just found out about your existence, when Amirah claimed have spent the night with him. Everyone knows about you and her being mates but it would seem that Elijah and Amirah as also fated mates as well,” said Alpha John. He let his words settle before he continued but Amirah saw Antonio’s shocked look and Elijah smirking at him. These two are going to be a pain to deal with.
• “Also we know that you mated and marked Amirah, while she thought that she was with Elijah,” said Alpha John.
• “Yes, asshole, I see the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” said Elijah, his anger surfacing again.
• “The fuck you say, boy,” said Antonio.
• “You forced yourself on Mira just like our father forced himself on our mother,”
• “Hahahahaha, wouldn’t you like that to be true. Mind correcting lover boy here, mate?” said Antonio, lazily turning to look at Amirah. She nervously was wringing her fingers together as she bit on her lower lip.
• “Stop doing that,” ordered Antonio and Amirah stopped her movements and placed her hands under her thighs.
• “No that,” he ordered again but pointing to her lips, and just like that Amirah was transported back to that room, in Antonio’s arms and him kissing her.
• “I... I thought…” stuttered not sure how to say the words.
• “There’s no need for you to say anything. We all know the truth,” said Elijah. Antonio’s gaze remained fixed on her lips as he slowly raised his eyes to hers and when they collided the lust in them suffocated her, she gaped out loud. This man was a danger to her. Amirah could feel her body react to his gaze and she pressed her thighs together. The corners of Antonio’s lips pulled upwards as he smirked at her,
• “I can smell you mate,” she heard him mindlink her. Her eyes widened in shock for a few seconds before she remembered. He marked her. He broke the moment and turned back to Elijah,
• “Look lover boy I have no time for all this. You say she is your mate well then,” he turned back at Amirah,
• “I, Antonio Romano, reject you Amirah Fox, as my fated mate. Now that our business is done here, I shall take my leave.”
