Chapter 39 Draco's Confession

  • Luna couldn’t calm herself. Her eyes were swollen from all the crying she had done. The tears may have dried, but her heart was still shattered. Her mind kept replaying the sound of the woman’s voice calling out to Draco while she was on the phone with him.
  • If she could, Luna would have gone after Draco. But that was impossible. She couldn’t leave the house without Draco’s permission. The maids would certainly stop her from going out.
  • Luna stared out the window, her gaze empty and her face etched with sadness. This pain was unlike anything she’d ever known—sharp, raw, and all-consuming. Never in her life had she been this close to a man, the way she was with Draco.
