• The pounding music was deafening. Draco sat at the bar, sipping a drink mixed by the bartender. He’d been knocking back alcohol for a while now, having decided to go to the nightclub alone. His mind was exhausted, and he was in no mood for company.
• Draco wasn’t ready to go home yet, still simmering with irritation and anger. His thoughts kept returning to Elina, who had stirred up trouble by bringing up Mireya’s name. Just remembering it soured Draco’s mood even more.
