Chapter 38 Wounded

• Draco stepped out of Mireya’s hospital room once the woman had finally fallen asleep. His face was clouded with frustration. He was forced to stay, all because of Mireya’s madness in attempting suicide. In truth, Draco could have gone home today, but if he insisted, Mireya might do something reckless again. Reluctantly, Draco chose to spend the night at the hospital, just to make sure Mireya wouldn’t do anything foolish.
• “Sir.” Nigel bowed respectfully to Draco.
• Draco closed his eyes briefly. “Have my men stand guard here. Also, arrange for a maid to always be with Mireya. I don’t want her doing anything crazy again.”
