Chapter 59 Shift

• The days passed quickly after the meeting. Ethan was busy but checked in with me whenever he could. The weekend of the Full Moon arrived and it was hard to hide my anxiety and fear about my first shift.
• It’s close to sundown and I’m feeling fidgety. “Don’t worry,” Olivia tried to soothe me, “after a couple of shifts it becomes second nature. This is what our body was made for.” She squeezed my hand and I nodded trying to calm myself.
