Chapter 84 Love

• I heard the door shut, but I barely registered the sound. All my focus was on the woman in front of me. I was too weak to do much of anything, but I ran my thumb over her hand and brought it to my face, kissing the palm and pressing it against my cheek, needing to feel some part of her against me.
• "I was so scared," she whispered, leaning closer. "I was terrified that you won't come back to us."
• "I’m here, Angel. I’m not going anywhere."
