Chapter 3 Luna Experience

• Luna woke up; she sat on her bed for a long time, after which she checked around and noticed that Sharlene and Charlie were not in the room. Luckily for her, a female senior staff in the field came in, she is by name Ranee, has come to know how Luna is doing since it was their intention to give her the best hope she deserves, yet Luna still lack the individual behind this.
• "Good morning, Luna." Ranee said.
• "I guess you are one of the officials." Luna asked been curious.
• "Yes," according to your words." She answered.
• "Am about going late to the academy premises; I mean, the registration process." "This is also part of your registration. You are a special lady, a Mateless that deserves to be treated with kindness, I was attracted with you pains, when I got to hear about, and I choose to be a part of your happiness".
• "Do you think I deserve it?" Ranee asked Ranee.
• "Yes, you deserve it". You deserve to be treated like a queen, which was the reason I decided to play a big part in your life." Ranee told her.
• "Were you the one who granted me this at first?" Luna asked.
• "Not really Luna, but I have to speak the truth; I am among those who want to give you a better life." "You deserve it, and most have it." Ranee smiles and draws closer to Luna.
• "I don't think I deserve it." Shouldn't, seeing that everyone thinks I have hands over what has been happening to me." I don't have hands in them, and I won't, just that life has shown me a lot." Luna almost cried.
• "This is a place where you will surely find true love, a place to be, and I assure you that among the alphas you are to pick, you have the best." Ranee assured Luna.
• "Speaking of the Alpha," do you have details among them?" She asked.
• Ranee smiles, seeing the curiosity in Luna. Ranee notices how curious Luna is.
• "You should not be afraid; this is a contract you are to sign; you coming here means your agreement to do this; there will be for you, whichever set you have chosen and have done with your program with then, you have the right to leave." Ranee spoke.
• "What about the Mateless," who was here earlier?" Luna asked Ranee
• "Speaking of them,they have as well made their choice, and they have been taken to their mate." Ranee responded.
• "Can I get to know more about Sharlene?" She sounded nice to me last night." Luna still speaking with Ranee.
• "I can't tell much about her; beside, I don't relate much Mateless in this camp," even though it is my duty to work here, I does that to keep my respect." Ranee replied.
• "Am I really cursed?" Luna asked.
• "You are not cursed; instead, you are faced with unfortunate events, but I promise you, you will as well get an answer and be rid of this." " Which is why you have to take one of the three sets of alphas as your mate." Ranee answered.
• "I am scared; will they grant me joy like Leo?" Luna referring to the Alpha she is to mate with.
• "Who is Leo?" Ranee asked.
• Luna remains silent but later has to respond to that. She told her all she had to know about Leo, the love the shared, and the peace she had gotten been with him.
• "He is nice to me; he is the one I love with all my heart; among my late mates; Leo happened to be the man that won my love the best." She answered.
• "You will get to find such here." I think it is time you go for the registration and soon get orientation on your missing here" She told her.
• Luna reluctantly stood up; she was directed where to take her bath, while Ranee sat on Luna's bed, waiting until she was through with her preparation.
• "Your beauty shines like the morning star, Luna." You are beautiful; you deserve a better life." Ranee said, at thesame time nodded her head in pity for her, which Luna didn't notice. They got into the car and drove down to the academy center, the hall where she had to register and also commence her program. Right on her way coming with Ranee, most ladies looked down on her. Everyone who had drawn closer to her called her and whispered the curse one, the word that have replaced her real name.
• She felt pain and thought to be covered beneath the ground, seeing that the abuse words were getting louder, without MR. Koen be with her at that moment, this happened when she have gone to joined the council.
• Luna turned to get with the registrar, who was a little far from her. She sat quietly, and enduring it all "To be honest, it was really said by the headmaster that registration should be made based on first come first serve." Lina who sympathy with Luna said.
• Alpha koen sighted Luna from where she was sitting. She stood from her sitting position, observing the tears that were dropping from her and how every other mateless person had segregated themselves from her.
• "Luna, come with me." Koen told her, as she drew closer to her.
• "She is the curse one." Echo the few among the colleagues.
• "Will you keep your mouth shut and keep doing what has brought you here?" Koen yelled at them, holding Luna at hands like her daughter. They made a step to leave, but the noise in the registration hall about Luna being a cursed one drew Alpha Koen's attention.
• He tried using the security personnel to calm it all, but they were unable to be calm, and when he threatened to end the registration for the day, even though it wasn't time, there was then a little calmness.
• Alpha Koen instructed that she should be brought to his office if that would help the situation.
• "I think everyone sees me as a curse; that won't be surprising to me." It has been part of my life, and I have often heard it from them" She said.
• Alpha Koen sees the courage in her and notices that she is ready to face whatever comes her way.
• "You are not cursed, and if you think you are, here is the place where you will get such thoughts off of your memory." I will make sure you are given the best attention." Alph Koen promised Luna.
• "I wonder if those mateless like me outside there don't have an ugly side." She said.
• "Sorry Luna, they have, just that yours looks so ugly than theirs." " No one is accusing you of being the reason for your predicament; rather, we are doing our best to see that you are well taken care of." Alpha Koen added.
