Chapter 1 Luna Read The Letter

  • Luna stared at the letter in her hands, feeling a mix of emotions. She couldn’t believe what she was reading. Was this some kind of joke? A prank? A trap?
  • The letter was written on thick parchment paper with a golden seal and elegant handwriting. It said:
  • Dear Luna,
  • We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the Academy of Supernatural Beings, the most prestigious and elite institution for the gifted and talented in the world. You have been selected for our special program for mateless wolves, where you will have the opportunity to contract with one of our powerful and influential alphas who are willing to protect you and share their bond with you.
  • As a mateless wolf, you have faced many hardships and dangers in your life. You have lost four fated mates in a row, each one dying in a mysterious and gruesome way. You have been shunned by your pack, feared by your enemies, and pitied by your friends. You have given up on finding love, and so has everyone else.
  • But we have not given up on you. We believe that you deserve a chance to be happy and fulfilled. We believe that you have a unique and valuable gift that can benefit the world. We believe that you are not a curse but a blessing.
  • That is why we are offering you a full scholarship to attend our academy, where you will receive the best education and training possible. You will also be able to choose from three sets of alpha brothers who are interested in contracting with you. Each set of alphas has their own strengths, weaknesses, personalities, and preferences. You will have to decide which one suits you best and which one can offer you the most happiness and security.
  • The contract is simple: you agree to be their mate for one year, during which time you will live with them, share their bond, and obey their rules. In exchange, they will provide you with protection, support, and affection. At the end of the year, you can choose to renew the contract or end it. If you end it, you will be free to leave the academy and pursue your own life. If you renew it, you will become their permanent mate and join their clan.
  • The choice is yours. But remember: once you sign the contract, there is no turning back. You will have to face the consequences of your decision, whatever they may be.
  • If you are interested in this offer, please reply to this letter within seven days. A representative from our academy will come to pick you up and escort you to your new home.
  • We hope to hear from you soon.
  • Yours Sincerely,
  • The Academy of Supernatural Beings
  • Luna read the letter over and over again, trying to make sense of it. She had never heard of such an academy before. She had never heard of such a program before. Neither have she heard of such alphas before.
  • " This is surprised" she said to herself.
  • Who were they? Why did they want her? What did they know about her mutation? How did they find her?
  • She felt curious and intrigued, but also scared and suspicious. She didn’t know if she could trust them or not. She didn’t know if she could trust anyone or not.
  • She looked around her small and shabby apartment, where she had lived alone since her parents died in a car accident when she was 16. She had no family, no friends, and no pack. She had nothing to lose, but also nothing to gain.
  • She then signed and put the letter on her desk. She had seven days to make up her mind. " What will I do next," she asked wondering and didn’t know what to do.
  • "I wished Leo was here.He would know what to do." She felt pain.
  • "He always knew what to do." She added. " He is my best friend, mine" confidant, and my crush."
  • He was also her fourth fated mate, and he was dead.
  • He died a week ago, on his 18th birthday. The day they met,the day they kissed, the day he marked he and the day he died.
  • Meanwhile she still remembered his face, his voice, and his touch.
  • " I remember his blood, his pain, and his scream, and his last words. Why exactly will I find a true love like his."
  • "I love you, and wished to be with you, life without you is miserable, you have left me with the quest of finding a true love like you." She said and wiped away a tear from her eye and got up from her bed, getting prepared for her school. At thesame time, pretend that everything was normal. She had to pretend that she was fine.
  • " I am broken". She swept, not knowing how to fix herself.
  • "Maybe the academy could help me" she encourage herself.
  • Maybe the alphas could help her.
  • Maybe they could make her whole again. She kept putting this in mind.
  • Or maybe they would make her worse.
  • She didn’t know.
  • But she had seven days to find out.
  • She packed her bags and waited for the representative from the academy to arrive. She had decided to accept the offer after much deliberation and doubt. She figured she had nothing to lose by trying something new. Maybe she would find a way to break her curse, or at least learn to live with it. Maybe she would find some friends, or even some love. Maybe she would find a place where she belonged.
  • She hoped she was making the right decision.
  • She checked her phone and saw that it was almost noon. The letter said that the representative would come at 12:00 sharp. She wondered who it would be and what they would look like. She hoped they would be nice and not creepy or scary.
  • She heard a knock on the door and jumped. She grabbed her bags and walked toward the door. She took a deep breath and opened it.
  • She gasped.
  • Standing in front of her was a man who looked like he had stepped out of a magazine. He was tall and muscular, with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. He wore a black suit and a white shirt, with a silver tie and a matching pin. He had a confident smile and a charming aura.He was gorgeous. And also one of the alphas who wanted to contract with her. Ashford, by name, the eldest of the triplet alphas.
  • "Hello, Luna," he said in a smooth and seductive voice. "I’m Ashford, the leader of the student council at the academy." "I’m here to take you to your new home."
  • Luna blinked, speechless. She couldn’t believe that he was here in person. She couldn’t believe that he was interested in her as a mate, as well as be real with it
  • Ashford smiled and reached out his hand.
  • "Are you ready to go?" he asked.
  • Luna hesitated, unsure what to do. She felt nervous and flustered, but also curious and excited. She felt a strange attraction to him, but also a slight fear. She felt like she was in a dream but also in a nightmare.
  • She looked at his hand, then at his face, made up her mind and took his hands.
  • He squeezed it gently and pulled her closer to him.
  • "Let’s go then," he said.
  • And led her to a black limousine that was parked outside her apartment building. And opened the door for her and helped her get in. He put her bags in the trunk and got in beside her, close the door after her and tapped on the window.
  • The driver nodded and started the engine.
  • Therefore, the limousine drove away, leaving behind Luna’s old life.
  • And heading towards her new one.
