Chapter 6 The Realization
- EPISODE SIX.
- TITLE: THE REALIZATION.
- ROMAN'S POV.
- "You're kidding me? He slept with a woman a day to her wedding day?" Mom's hysterical voice surfaces in the dining room, blasting my eardrums.
- God.
- She's fucking dramatic.
- "And you know the funniest thing? The so-called fiancee met them screwing each other." Chris adds behind Mom as they both walk into the dinning room.
- Mom's face twists again in amusement, laughing her ass off.
- That son of a bitch, he's even lying to make so he can have a good laugh.
- This must be so fun for them. Fuck my life.
- I regretted telling Chris about this, apart from the fact that he laughed at me for screwing a woman I knew nothing about, he told Mom who's been grilling me for the past three days.
- I hate one nightstands so much, They're so messy and awkward, not to even talk of screwing an engaged woman whose soft curves and the awesome sex we had has been on my mind all day and I won't be having another one with her because she hates me and doesn't want to have anything to do with me.
- It annoys the living out of me.
- "You know you're shitting right? I was about to leave when he entered." I mutters, already tired of them gaining a good laugh and gist out of this fucking mess I pulled myself into.
- Mom shrugs and tuts. "Is she okay? I mean, that must have been so hard for her." She asks in a soft tone, gazing at me deeply.
- I roll my eyes tiredly. How am I supposed to know if she's still alive? I ruined her goddamned wedding. There's no way she would be fine after that.
- "I don't know,Mom. And I don't want to talk about it."
- Her shoulder slumps a bit and I sigh tiredly. I probably know what's running through her mind right now.
- Her extreme thoughts of ending like a dick the way Dad is. But fuck, I'm not like that.
- I play my game neatly, and there's no way I screwed that girl without her coming for me first.
- Besides, we were both drunk. And we're adults.
- "Where's Moira? I haven't seen her since I came here." Chris asks, turning his head in every direction dramatically which cracks Mom up every damn time.
- I don't know how he manages to keep a poker face around her, and I'm sure by now, Mom definitely prefers his company over mine.
- He makes everyone's day fun. Except Moira, my little sister, they never get along.
- "I don't know. I bet she's manipulating Nicholas to do some stuff I would never agree to do." Mom chuckles making him groan.
- Nicholas is one of my workers who loves spending time ass licking Moira rather than do the actual job I pay him for.
- But lately, he's been searching for a nanny to hand her over to, Moira is a whole lot of job and no one is ready to deal with her.
- I mean, we love her, I love her so much, but not that-that.
- "He hasn't found one?"
- "I don't think so. Moira has been rejecting everyone that comes for the interview. She complains they check Nicholas out too much and he's not worth the attention. But I guess we all know the actual reason why she did that." Mom gives me a knowing smile.
- I chuckle softly. As hot-headed as she is, nobody gets Moira like Nicholas. They fit each other so much and I don't think Moira is ready to let go of that relationship.
- "You were talking shit about me?" Moira screams in her shrill tone, emerging from the main entrance while Nicholas drags behind her clumsily with lots of shopping bags.
- "Oh, shit. She almost made me pee my pants." Chris blubbers, picking up his cutleries which slips at every damn time he tries to.
- I held my laugh back, trying to conjure my face into a straight one, because if I burst out laughing, Moira will find out that we've been talking about her and Chris will be so dead.
- "Moira. What did we say about your choice of words?" Mom scolds in a sharp but low tone.
- "Blame your boys. They spend every night cursing themselves out instead of doing the actual job that pays their bills." She grunts, sticking her tongue out at me.
- I chuckle, staring at the seven year old girl in amusement. She's such a smart ass for her age.
- "Hi, Chris. You've been quiet the whole day. Cat got your tongue?" Moira teases, walking giddily to where he is sitting.
- "Goddamnit. This tiny devil will surely be the end of me." He grumbles under his tone and moves closer to where I'm sitting but I don't say a word.
- Hell no. I'm not ready to be the scapegoat.
- "What do you want?" Chris asks in such a sweet tone that Moira blushes.
- If there's any way to avoid getting messy with Moira, just get her what she wants.
- "Follow me to a birthday party I'm attending this weekend. Make sure you drag Roman with you, and that one, struggling to get his tuxedo tie done." She snickers, raising her eyebrows to Nicholas's direction.
- I throw my head back in laughter and watch as he tries doing it. He never gets it right, and Moira isn't tired of teasing him. Nicholas stops immediately and bites his lips back in embarrassment.
- "I can't sing shit. Don't...fu..."
- The heavy smack on his head cut every word he's about to say and it came from no other person than Mom.
- "Mind your language! I can't have you corrupt my daughter." Mom scolds, twisting his ears in such a painful manner.
- "That means you're coming with me."
- "Oh,God." Chris groans.
- "Besides, get me a new nanny, I'm tired of having Nicholas around me. He's been getting on my nerves these days." She says, referring to me as she saunters out of the room.
- "Guys, we have to go now. Jackson is around and he came up with a good deal." Nicholas announces which got everyone scrambling for things to take with them to the company.
- "Take care of yourself." Mom smiles, throwing me a peck on my cheeks.
- I nod and run along with them to the car. Jackson barely comes to the company but when he does, he comes with good news which we've all been waiting for.
- Nicholas was fast enough to get us there in thirty minutes, we walked into the empty ridiculously large building which Sloane, my redhead cousin manages.
- I was barely steps into the room when she scurried towards me frantically.
- Oh,please. Don't tell me he left. But she got the expression on my face and shook her head.
- "You got charged with rape. Are you crazy?" Her tiny voice simmers into the large hall.
- Then, I got the hang of two other people with her, surprisingly, it was the chick I slept with and one smartly dressed woman.
- Her hair is roughly parked into a large bun and her face is bare of makeup.
- God. She looks so fucking attractive that her hips in those tight jeans, threatening to rip out of them dazzles me.
- She's one hell of a woman and I'm glad that baldie isn't having her to himself alone.
- Oh- he never had her. I did. I almost laugh but the glares she throws at me yanks it off me.
- "Hey. It's you!" I raise my hand, trying not to sound as awkward but she doesn't budge.
- Guess she's not here to tell me how much she enjoyed the night we had together.
- I turn to Sloane who's holding that same expression that's been on her face since I walked in and returns the gaze to her again.
- My face morphs in realization, Jesus. She's trying to screw me over.
- "You're suing me?" I scoff in surprise but my tone came off with an edge. She didn't say anything and strangely, I want nothing but to see her glossy lips which have been curled up since here move like they did when I was ramming into her the other night.
- "God. You're out of your mind."
- "Say that when I drag your ass in jail." She threatens and walks out of the room with the woman who looks like a lawyer. Her round ass wriggling effortlessly in the jeans.
- "Holy shit. What just happened?" Nicholas whooshes dramatically beside me like a pussy.
- "What if Jackson knew about this? He's scared of scandals." Chris complains.
- "Well, let's hope he hasn't learned about this." I say in between gritted teeth, marching towards the room in anger.
- That handful of a woman just poked the bear and she doesn't know what she's getting herself into.
- She'd better come up with enough evidence, because her sorry ass won't live to hear the tale.
